CASE STUDY
5D Net Zero: Crafting Brand Narrative & Team Confidence
5D Net Zero (Carbon Management Consultancy) wanted to clarify and refresh their brand narrative, while also giving their team more confidence in sales and marketing conversations.
Do achieve this, both team members and leaders took part in a 5 session facilitated message exploration programme. Together, everyone explored the specific values they personally felt for the work they were doing, and how they felt this contributed to the companies overarching values and brand. From this, different threads of the overarching narrative and messaging strategy could be defined, and woven together.
This approach, in addition to providing a richer brand narrative and a great sense of team collaboration – also enabled individual team members to develop more personal agency in how best to engage effectively with prospective clients, in a way which felt tailored and authentic for them personally.
Following the programme, 5D Net Zero updated their website, brand, and messaging; with their new narrative giving them more confidence in the vision, values, and strengths which made them unique and effective. Their new narrative is also more accessible for their target audience, while still accurately reflecting their passion and long term mission.

Thrivall: Funding Application Video
Thrivall Ltd (corporate wellbeing programmes) needed to put together a compelling video presentation for an important funding application – within a very short turnaround time of just one day.
As a new, cutting edge product offering – they needed to introduce their unique approach to a new audience; ensuring the need and value was clear while also being easily understood by non-sector experts.
We began by outlining the key sections required for the video, and exploring the key messages within each – ensuring each was strong as a stand alone point, but still made sense and flowed with the previous/next.
The client/founder needed to deliver the message on video themselves – and so once we had the key outline we quickly moved to refining the message verbally (as opposed to written). This enabled three things; 1) for the client to tap into their intuitive insight for the core value of the offering, 2) to use natural spoken language (as opposed to written prose and jargon) and 3) for the client to become familiar with and partially memorise the content (to be able to deliver authentically and confidently on camera).
Each section of the video was filmed separately, and then edited together. This allowed the client to have a less stressfully, less memory intense way to remember what deliver, while still being able to do so in a natural, authentic way. This also enabled us to explore and capture different takes and content options, while knowing each would fit together in the final film.
The client received very positive feedback on their video submission; stating she came across as relaxed, professional and confident, with a clear benefit of the proposed innovation. Thrivall also continued to use the video ongoing – as part of their marketing and partnership engagement.
